They might be independent tests or a series of tests that follow each other, each dependent on the output of the previous one. The ideal test scenario must have 3 attributes:
- The test must be realistic (and therefore credible).
- The test must be complex. It combines two or more features (or inputs or attributes—two or more things that we could test separately) and uses them in a way that seems as though it should be challenging for the program.
- The test has to be tested easily to avoid shortcuts which can be imperfectly accurate (that is, they may miss obvious bugs or they may flag correct code as erroneous)
