Event Coordinator

You will be part of the Group Marketing Team. 

Working in close collaboration with the Event Manager based at the Headquarters in Belgium, you will work with the digital team based in France, our content team based out of the United Kingdom and the sales team active in 6 European countries. You will be the SPOC (single point of contact) for the event team.  

You will deploy and harmonise the event strategy, helping make our actions successful and profitable and will also be responsible for organising everything for and around the events in which we participate.

The role

Your tasks will be: 

  • The organisation of our own online and on-site events: webinars, client testimonials, round tables, corporate events, trade shows, VIP events… and other networking opportunities.
  • The identification of relevant conferences and trade shows to participate in. 
  • Planning, coordination and logistics of the events including the identification of speaking opportunities and support to colleagues in the preparation of their presentations, operational coordination of resources and management of direct event communication with customers and prospects.
  • Collaboration with the Digital Marketing team to promote events on social media, create campaigns and increase awareness of our products and company, to enhance our brand and global presence
  • Event material: in charge of supervising and carrying out the design, suppliers, orders and delivery.
  • Stay informed of developments in the online and offline events industry: trends, new and upcoming technologies, platform, market demands and industry best practices.

Key abilities

 The ideal candidate: 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and events, preferably in offline and online formats
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work and take into account feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of events in omnichannel marketing programs to support business growth.
  • Excellent level of oral and written English and French, ability to draft emails and content in both languages.
  • A good knowledge of Dutch is considered an important asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a real team player
  • A strong positive attitude, an ability to take initiatives and to propose and test new formats, with the ability to effectively combine creative and administrative work           
  • Flexible travel for our events in Europe
