A quality of service that stands out

Up to 20% of software implementations fail because of underestimating the project risks and challenges. At SOA People we never under estimate anything: quality management is a key driver for our customer satisfaction.

We base the quality of our delivery on 5 key differentiators:

  • Continuous evaluation of skills required for our consultants and project managers
  • Professional and rigorous internal processes allowing monitoring and improvement on the quality of our customer projects
  • Efficient project management methodology based on tools adapted to SAP projects and our customer environments
  • Dedicated quality monitoring and improvement organisation
  • Participation in SAP Active Quality Management Program, allowing us to assess and improve our practices and take advantage of SAP recommendations

Projects control and monitoring at the highest level

We monitor quality levels and risk at the highest levels at SOA People. Together with project managers our Chief Operations Officer oversees quality control and has access to real-time project status reports with the help of dedicated reporting tools allowing the team to initiate and track corrective actions when quality does not reach the expected level.

SOA PEOPLE and SAP Active Quality Management Program

With the benefit of direct SAP support and together with an SAP facilitator, our SAP Active Quality Management Program initiative aims to build a robust risk and quality management framework. We do this with regular collaboration, methodology and tools to enable us to drive more successful projects.

SAP project delivery

Our SAP implementation projects are designed to ensure a rapid and successful deployment tailored to our customers’ specific business requirements. With low fixed budget and minimal business resources required from our customers, our Ready-to-Business solutions make an ideal choice.

Our tried and tested methodology together with our Project Management Office is a dedicated resource to ensure consistent levels of quality throughout all of our SAP implementation and deployment projects.

Applying appropriate methodology for individual projects

Our ASAP (Accelerated SAP) methodology has been specifically developed for preconfigured solution projects.

The phases, activities, tasks and deliverables are adapted to allow shorter planning and lower budget implementations as well as providing templates, processes, tools and accelerators for every stage of project management.

Our set of tools

Our set of tools has been designed to enable enhanced project management efficiency:

  • Quality Assurance Plan: describes the processes, rules and organization to be followed
  • Roles and Responsibility Matrix (RACI): identifies all tasks, deliverables and responsibilities
  • Project document templates: covers meeting minutes, steering committee documents, end of phase reviews
  • Project deliverables templates: business blueprint document, functional specification document and integration test plan
  • Manpower and costs management
  • Budget and invoicing management
  • Schedule management

We take our project training seriously
Our project managers undertake an internal training cycle of 12 modules spread over five months and validated by a final examination. Every step of the project management processes is standardized and explained to ensure an efficient and homogeneous project management community.
