Hopps Group creates SAP S/4HANA business case and roadmap
The Group deployed PERFORMER to assess the long-term viability of moving onto the SAP S/4HANA platform to meet its technology and business needs.
Hopps Group is a market challenger in France for distribution and logistics specialising in e-commerce solutions, brand distribution and local communication solutions.
Created in 2017 with a start-up mentality, it supports the growth of e-commerce and the changes in consumer spending habits, offering logistics chain and delivery from the first to the last mile. Rapidly gaining market share, its next-day service addresses the customer need for fast, convenient, cost-effective and reliable delivery in a highly competitive market. It has 1,500 employees in France, with six logistics centres and 270 relay points.
Hopps Group has ambitious growth plans, part of which it aims to achieve through strategic alliances as well as its recent acquisition of a French logistics subsidiary.
Becoming an e-logistics leader in a very challenging industry, where disrupters like Amazon were constantly changing the rules, would go hand-in-hand with its ability to succeed in digital transformation. To meet fast changing customer needs, new business models would need to be underpinned by strong and sustainable technology. But its IT systems had become heterogeneous with different maturity levels between its business entities and a high SAP TCO.
"I really enjoyed working with the PERFORMER FOR SAP® team because they brought quick answers and a strong expertise around SAP S/4HANA. Their experts even went beyond my expectations by intervening on the delicate subject of SAP S/4HANA licensing”
