The internationally renowned Belgium chocolatier Galler has chosen SOA People to help upgrade its existing SAP environment by converting to SAP S/4HANA.
Galler is a growing business with over 150 employees and is famous for its innovative and high-quality chocolate products. It is also leading the way on environmental issues by ensuring all its cocoa is 100% Fairtrade certified as well as striving to ensure that its future operations has a minimal impact on the environment.
Galler is looking to transform its business in all areas and believes that this new ERP system will help achieve its long-term goals. It wanted an innovative approach with access to instant data, accurate forecasting and real-time reporting to allow management to be more proactive. It was also vital to Galler that operations were not interrupted during the digital transformation and so by converting its technology automatically ensured minimal disruption.SAP S/4HANA will allow Galler to greatly benefit from this powerful platform including functionalities such as new asset accounting and advances logistics.
This fixed price project will provide a single SAP landscape and support 75 end users, over two locations including a number of interfaces for barcodes and web sales. Galler will have access to special features such as Embedded Analytics to bring business intelligence to the core, as well as Financial Closing and Account Based Profitability Analysis. The company will also get the latest Fiori user experience benefiting from KPI triggered worklists, increased productivity, decreased user errors and will ultimately support better collaboration and communication.
