SAP S/4HANA to support promotional products firm’s vision to become European market leader

SOA People has been awarded a long-term contract with Plato Group to deliver SAP S/4HANA hosted on a private cloud platform by T-Systems.

With 400 employees, Plato Group is a leading wholesaler of promotional products serving more than 20 European markets, helping customers to make their brands stand out and offering an easy way to order products. The SOA People Ready-to-Business solution will accelerate business processes and bring visibility of costs versus revenue on custom-made products to drive margin recovery.

Embedded analytics within SAP S/4HANA will provide powerful business insight and real-time reporting, empowering Plato Group’s operations to manage each of its customer brands more efficiently and quickly. Plato Group will also benefit from transparent stock management from picking through to production and shipping, and the capability to consolidate reporting across multiple brands within the same customer organisation.

SAP S/4HANA will initially be implemented for 265 users with plans to expand usage across Plato Group. It includes modules for finance and cost controlling, sales and distribution, materials management and production planning. The firm plans to harness further solution capability including HR, ecommerce and product information management.
