Ensuring everyone’s health, security and business continuity in light of Covid-19

SOA People |

The COVID-19 global pandemic is causing an unprecedented situation for individuals and for organisations.

Our focus is to protect our people, customers and partners during this extremely challenging time and to always ensure business continuity for our customers.

We are closely monitoring the advice and guidance published by World Health Organisation, the EU and local authorities.

As part of our emergency mitigation action plan, SOA People has taken the necessary steps to adapt its organisation in this escalating situation.  To ensure business continuity and protect our employees (as well as our customers & partners), we are well positioned to enable team members and consultants to work from home, addressing the travel restrictions and remote working requirements that are already in place.

With immediate effect, we have introduced a work from home policy where possible across the business for the foreseeable future. As a digital technology business, our offices remain open and our consultants will operate a Business as Usual (BAU) service for the duration of this crisis, with staff available online and by telephone and email. We’ve also expanded our digital communication environment so that virtual face-to-face meetings are easier, and project updates and training can take place with video conferencing.

More specifically, our Covid-19 measures include:

  • Ensuring remote working is implemented for the majority of staff and customers (most of them have already accepted/required this measure)
  • Our SAP certified 24/7 Service Desk remains open and ready to respond quickly and effectively. A team by team rotation organisation has been implemented aimed at minimising physical presence (to respect the social distancing policy and to actively participate in the hopeful decrease of the virus propagation)
  • When required by our client, onsite visits will be limited to what is essential, with most activity taking place remotely via video link, without compromising the integrity of a customer project or mission. Evaluation will take place on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the client and SOA People management
  • Training needs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis with the SOA People project manager and the client. Remote training will continue to be provided.

Ready to support you where and when you need it

To guarantee business continuity and minimise disruption, it is important now more than ever to keep your systems fully functioning 24/7, maintaining a highly flexible and remote working environment for your teams.

Our dedicated support organisation will continue to operate a BAU service with no change to the quality for our customers, responding with speed, expertise and competence.

Making remote working work for everyone

We are committed to protecting the health of and supporting our customers, employees and partners during this period. We will continuously monitor and assess the impact. As the situation changes, we’ll keep you informed via our website and our social network pages.

We take our social responsibility seriously and will take whatever measures necessary to continually meet the needs of the SOA People community.

Please contact your Account Manager with any concerns or questions. We are always there to assist and guide you.
