      EUR benchmarks SAP performance in preparation for SAP S/4HANA

      Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) located in the Netherlands, is a public research university ranked in the top 3% of universities worldwide. It’s School of Economics and Management has an excellent reputation across Europe and its medical and trauma centres are some of the largest in Europe.

      The Challenge

      EUR was already an SAP customer but wanted to modernise its system to support its HR and Finance departments. It was interested in moving to SAP S/4HANA to provide a modern, modular cloud ERP environment but wanted to assess its readiness to make the transition. EUR wanted  a clear understanding on what it needed to achieve ahead of time to ensure a smooth migration project and any associated risks that could be involved.

      Solution

      EUR selected SOA People’s value management platform Performer to carry out an SAP S/4HANA assessment.  It also chose 3 modules, Digital Core, Audit and SAFE Domain to help assess the value of its existing SAP landscape to uncover business-critical information to provide assisted business case generation and potential IT risks.
