      SAP S/4HANA and SOA People support Polyplus' growth

      Polyplus-transfection selected SAP S/4HANA and SOA People to support global growth by standardising and automating processes, with a project time of only 8 months.

      Polyplus-transfection is a world leader in transfection reagents and creates and distributes transfection solutions for the implementation of gene and cell therapies. Based in Illkirch, the French company sells its products worldwide in the pharmaceutical industry, employing 100 people in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

      The Challenge

      Polyplus’ current ERP had reached its end of life and showed limits in the field of GMP (good manufacturing practices). Polyplus was looking for a robust new solution to help structure its processes and workflows within a short time frame. The solution needed to be capable of supporting growth and be deployable in all relevant countries and  processes needed to be standardised covering a broad scope: finance, purchasing, sales, production and logistics.

      Solution

      Polyplus-transfection chose to update its ERP to SAP S/4HAHA to benefit from faster analytics, the latest best practices and could be deployed globally to support its growing business.  It also chose SOA People with expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and could implement the project within a short time frame.
